My Arch system updated automatically to GNOME 3.14.1 today and this extension updated with it just fine.

GNOME 3.14 shows a very nice animation when you start on an app via the dock. Would be cool if dash-to-dock did this also!

Animations should be preserved. I'm also on 3.14, but maybe I didn't pay enough attention, although I had the impression sometimes the animations are missing. Can you be more precise?

The standard GNOME 3.14 dock icon expands over about .5 sec when you click on it as the app starts. It's like a little puff of smoke.

I see. You get the animations if you disable the customization of the click behaviour... I'll try to update my code to reflect the upstream changes, should not be difficult.
