after searching for an issue with connecting to the activated AP it turns out that the AP only in authmode=0 and using a different IP address rather than the default 192.168.4.1
Different IP isn't a problem but missing security is an real issue.

Hi there,
after searching for an issue with connecting to the activated AP it turns out that the AP only in authmode=0 and using a different IP address rather than the default 192.168.4.1
Different IP isn't a problem but missing security is an real issue.
I tried it in either on NodeMCU 2866 and ESP-01 with the same result. With real xx and yy it works fine on both devices.
Latest firmware is configured on both devices.
Is someone working on a solution?
And do we have the same issue on PI pico?
Thanks in advance
