Even though the data contract of Trace seems to support it:
https://github.com/Microsoft/ApplicationInsights-JS/blob/master/JavaScript/JavaScriptSDK/Telemetry/Trace.ts

The constructor does not allow to pass the severityLevel

ApplicationInsights.trackTrace:
https://github.com/Microsoft/ApplicationInsights-JS/blob/master/JavaScript/JavaScriptSDK/AppInsights.ts

also does not allow one to define the severityLevel.
