I would like to have a functionality to limit volume for different audio output devices in sound settings of windows 10 . Like for headphones i should be able to set a max volume of lets say 20% for ear protection . So if any event generated in the system if it causes for the volume to go up it never goes above the 20 mark.

I ll explain what happens with me . I have a Mi bluetooth audio reciever that recieves the audio and passes the audio to the wired headphones. So it becomes sort of like a bluetooth headphones. But due to some reasons if i ever unplug the headphones from the jack on the reciever the windows volume rises to 80 instantly and the output device still is the Mi bluetooth audio reciever. Then when i connect the wired headphones back a very high volume hits my ear which i dont want. I dont know what's causing this event , if its windows or the reciever but i dont want this event to cause problems to my ear .

If a setting in powertoys to limit audio volume(to a user selected preference) for each output device can be made that would be helpful.

Even if i try to increase the volume through fn keys shortcuts the volume should either not increase over that max volume mark set in power toys or it should spring back to the max volume mark (lets say 20) which i set in powertoys.

Maybe it's just me, but your example sounds pretty specific / personal.
