It would be amazing if we can have a pop up show up just above the selection with buttons OS wide. The buttons should have basic functions like search with Google/Bing (custom search would be best), open URL, spellcheck, calculate, convert to units, copy/paste/paste&go.

Here's what the mac equivalent of this:
spellcheck paste search.

The best part of this application is not that just what it comes with but that you can actully write scripts, components etc. yourself to suit your needs; check out the custom extensions on the website. If we can get anything remotely like this, you can easily mark OS as Windows 11.

If possible it should also show up with other types of items such as files e.g. you could select an image then click upload to imgur, or select a code file upload to gist/pastebin, or select a folder then zip it, or select a file and then open with ..., or select a file and calculate it's checksum etc.

The uses are countless.

this is an implementation detail for scaling a solution, not a PowerToy in itself. Good idea but in itself, can't be executed without the items that would be using it.
