Does this happen to one/some/all files? Can you upload a bugreport?

@Nerxxy Also, could you attach the image that caused the issue?

@Nerxxy The image shown in the video - meta.png. Could you attach it? so we could debug the issue using the exact image that caused it.

Its not just that one image, I tried it some of the other images in the folder and I got the same error, here they are

meta
Base
bumper
dpad
face

I'll also check some other image in different folders

Well I just tried on some other image and it only worked on 2 of the images, but upon trying other images, I got a different error "Operation caused an invalid state" which was for a JPG file.

The 2 images are jpg files, seems like its only giving the "Value does not fall within the expected range" error on PNG files.

Latest main resizes these images successfully, so it looks like this is fixed and will be included in next release

based on this, i'm going to mark this as "revisit for 0.55" and soon as .53 comes out, lets revisit to verify we have the fix

@stefansjfw: It was a regression in 0.51.1. My bad! Will be fixed by #15198 and released with 0.53!

@Nerxxy: Thanks for the images, I added them to my test suite. Would be great if you could check again with v0.53 once its released and confirm that the error is fixed. Thank you for taking the time to report the issue.
