Description of the new feature / enhancement

This module would allow users to adjust how the microsoft-edge: URI is handled as it is no longer exposed to the user and any changes to it are normally reverted. Ideally, this would also remove the restriction of bing also being used as the default search engine.

Scenario when this would be used?

When using windows start menu search, windows weather and news taskbar, windows 11 widgets, and help links within Microsoft Applications.

Using PowerToys Run will open your default browser btw. If you want to submit feedback how edge links are handles you should use the Feedback Hub.

There are some third-party tools that do this, but I don't think we will work against another Microsoft product.
