Rounded corners are maintained when snapping a window to a zone

Rounded corners are removed when snapping to a zone

Actually, this was fixed in this release, as keeping the rounded corners was considered an issue: #12787

Perhaps it needs to be a setting?

By the way, this shouldn't be an issue in the 0.53 version you've indicated. Are you sure that's the version you're running?

I've reverted back to v1.56.2 where the rounded corners were still present before #16542 was merged. I too think there should be a setting for toggling.

I very much hope they implement a toggle to keep the rounded corners 🤞. For now I’m going to hang out on ver 1.56.2

Please implement a toggle in the settings menu, so that people can choose whether rounded corners are on or off

@nikolausmoll "devil is in the details" as they say: that pr fixes the corners when snapping OUT of a zone. This issue is about the corners when snapped INTO a zone.

Because that issue is about the corners remaining rounded when snapping into a zone as UNWANTED behaviour.

This definitely should be a setting, I like the corners being rounded when they're in zones.

The PR that is visible above (17425) will include this. Therefore the label "fix-committed". Keep an eye out for updates.

Using 57.2 on Win11. While certain windows DO have rounded corners again in this update, not all do. From limited testing, appears that Microsoft applications DO (Teams, Outlook, Edge, Task Manager), but non-Microsoft applications DO NOT (SnagIt Editor, Toggl Track, etc). Is this by design? Any way to have ALL apps get rounded corner if that's what we've chosen in Settings?

@rbunge-cnf , Not all applications will get rounded corners. For example, if they didn't originally had rounded corners they won't get them now.
