Keyboard Shortcut to specific fancy zone #18545
Comments
I was looking for this feature! Would be useful when using macros, or things like that to open several files and applications and to get them always in the same places. For example open two file explorers to display1 zones 2 and 3, notepad to zone 4 and some app in display2 zone 1. That would be lot of draggin windows around. Also would be faster to move window directly to the specific zone without dragging or win + arrow for example win + 4 to move window to zone number 4. Don't know what kind of keyboard shortcut would work for different displays but for macros it would be nice enhancement. |
I am also looking forward to be able to add shortcut to the specific zone |

Description of the new feature / enhancement
I would love to be able to assign a keyboard shortcut to each specific FancyZones that has been set up.
I use 4 monitors, and I like certain applications to always be in the same places. When I open a new application, I currently use a program called "Sizer" to assign shortcuts to specific areas I've set up, and hit the keyboard shortcut and the window goes to that predefined location.
I like PowerToys much better with the option of also using your mouse, but wish the keyboard shortcut was an option.
Scenario when this would be used?
To move an application to specific established FancyZone
