Summary of the new feature/enhancement

Set wallpaper easily on multi-monitor (MM) setup

Setting wallpapers on MM is hell. It's possible to set it per monitor, but when you add new wallpaper (via Settings->Personalization->Background->Browse) with intention to set it for specific monitor Windows changes current wallpapers on all of the screens at the same time. So you need to set the wallpapers again as they were before. Going through each monitor one-by-one.
It's not possible to select a fit per monitor.

Proposed technical implementation details (optional)

Solution should allow to change wallpapers per screen and at the same time not to mess up current setup. It should be also possible to "Choose a fit" per screen

Something similar to DisplayFusion where you can span a wallpaper across multiple monitors, and then scale a specific monitor (because some monitors may be different resolutions)

This would be great as it's the only reason I am keeping DisplayFusion around, I never used many of it's features.. so would be nice to not need it (as much as I loved the wallpaper and desktop snapping it provided).

The ability to have different images and even slideshows on one monitor and fixed on others, then have solid colour on a virtual desktop (e.g. for development work), etc. It's an all or nothing situation with wIndows 11. If you have virtual desktops you can't set different images on individual monitors, and either way you can't mix the picture/colour/slideshow options on multi-monitors.

While we do agree it is a neat idea, no plans currently to implement this in the near future so closing this out.
