A new utility that shows you your multiple monitors (like Windows 10's Settings/System/Display UI) and allows you to pre-select which monitors/displays you'd like to switch off.
When the utility is activated via a shortcut key combination, those monitor will go to sleep, leaving the other(s) still active.
A second shortcut key combination would wake them up again (or a system tray icon interaction) but not mouse movements as the user would still beusing the active monitor.
Scenario when this would be used?
Working remotely, as many of us do, we spend a lot of time on video calls. I've also invested in my home setup, as many others have too, and have two external monitors on my laptop - one either side and a web cam in the middle.
I find that light being generated from all three monitors washes out my complextion on the video call andmakes me look very pale.
So this utility is aimed at reducing the unneeded light sources by turning off the two monitors I don't use when on a video call.
