It would be nice to have a quick feature to switch resolution between presets e.g. from ultra wide screen to HD and vice versa.
The feature would ideally allow the user to switch with a quick keyboard shortcut and adjust screen resolution and scale in one gesture.
Scenario when this would be used?
As a power user I use a high resolution display e.g. 4K or ultra-wide screen which displays poorly when presenting to other users via videoconferencing tools. If I want the audience to have a good user experience I need to downgrade my screen resolution to a more standard size e.g. HD 1920x1080 when sharing my screen so that text and UI elements are legible. After the videoconference or when I stop sharing my screen and return to my normal work as power user I switch back to my preferred resolution.
