Microsoft PowerToys version

0.76.0

Installation method

PowerToys auto-update

Running as admin

Yes

Area(s) with issue?

FancyZones

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Facebook's desktop app, Messenger Beta Version 201.0.0.5.336 (542346795)
  2. Put focus on the app window
  3. Use Windows Key + Arrow Keys shortcuts
  4. Click and hold on the top of the window to move the window
  5. Continue to hold click, and then press and hold the Shift key

Note: these steps were performed after the update to v0.76.0 and a reboot.

✔️ Expected Behavior

At step 3, the window should move into the configured zones.
At step 5, the zones should appear and I should be able to snap the window to one of them

❌ Actual Behavior

At step 3, Windows Snap takes over, even though the setting to override it is turned on.
At step 5, nothing happens.
In both cases, these functions work with other windows.

Other Software

Facebook's desktop app, Messenger Beta Version 201.0.0.5.336 (542346795)

I've since updated to V0.76.1 and FB Messenger now works, but I've just discovered that WiiM Home is experiencing this issue. I'm not really sure if I've tried to use FancyZones with this app before. https://www.wiimhome.com/app

@jkanethird could you please send us the WiiM Home window styles to identify the problem? PowerToys has a special tool for getting styles. You can find it in C:\Program Files\PowerToys\Tools\PowerToys.WindowStylesReportTool.exe. Please run it, then focus the WiiM Home window and press Ctrl + Alt + S. Then, a file with the necessary information will be created on the desktop.
Thank you!

Thank you. Now, it's clear that FancyZones filters it out because of the style. We'll figure it out for future releases.
