Environment

Windows build number: 10.0.18363.900
PowerToys version: 0.19.2
PowerToy module for which you are reporting the bug (if applicable): PT Run
Dual monitor setup

Steps to reproduce

  1. Restart PT in non-administrator mode
  2. Toggle PT Run off then back on
  3. Press Alt + Space to open Run

Expected behavior

PT Run pops up

Actual behavior

I notice PT Run attempting to open (current active window loses focus), but after a few seconds PowerLauncher.exe crashes. The process disappears from task manager detail view. In administrator mode, I face a similar issue with #3650.

Does this still happen with 0.23.2? We've done a lot of fixes here.

So far it seems like it's fixed in the 0.23.2. It works without administrator mode. I'm thinking it might be some sort of conflict with either MSI Afterburner or RTSS because after updating those programs, PT Run starts working.

#3190 has a reference to RTSS and seems to be fixed as well.
