📝 Provide an MSI Installer

What is the expected behavior of the proposed feature? What is the scenario this would be used?

An MSI installer was provided for previous releases please provide the MSI installer along with the EXE installer. MSI installations are useful in enterprise deployment scenarios.

If you'd like to see this feature implemented, add a 👍 reaction to this post.

Yes please !
At very least add a silent switch to the EXE installer !!

Bring back the MSI installer - EXE wrappers are notoriously unreliable when used in deployment systems

Another vote for an MSI installer please. We were deploying this through InTune

For me, running .exe file for 0.20 doesn't do anything. The .msi files of older versions seem to be working just fine.

Without a Silent installation option, this currently breaks the Chocolatey package.

For Chocolatey to work correctly, one of these options is required:

  1. MSI installer (preferred)
  2. Silent installation via parameters (e.g. by using /S , /SILENT, /VERYSILENT, --silent and so on)

yet another vote for an MSI installer. We need this to deploy via GPO

Can't get 0.20 through chocolatey anymore. Please provide an MSI installer.

FYI with the later releases you just need to add --extract_msi syntax to the end of the exe file to extract the MSI package
