Does this bug already exist in our backlog?

  • I have checked and confirm this is a new bug.

Describe the issue

The DLP Impact Analysis app shows incorrect environments. This is the Admin Center view of the policy:

This is what I see in the DLP app:

Expected Behavior

No response

What solution are you experiencing the issue with?

Core

What solution version are you using?

4.15

What app or flow are you having the issue with?

DLP Impact Analysis

What method are you using to get inventory and telemetry?

Cloud flows

Steps To Reproduce

Open any DLP policy in the app, the environments list will be incorrect.

Anything else?

I am in GCC. This is happening on a fresh install (v 4.15) that I set up manually (cannot use the setup wizard app)
The Environments table appears to be up to date.

What type of DLP Policy is it? Can you see this on the main page. What does it say for Scope and Applied to?

And what does it show for Modified? When was the DLP last modified?

Actually, the Environments table isn't totally up to date. But I did just manually change the Has DLP column to Yes, and I still get the incorrect environment list in the DLP app.

I created the policy yesterday. But I noticed the same issue on existing policies too (which I've since deleted from the tenant)

yep this is just a bug in our app. We're going to try and fix for Oct if we can (halting the ship wheels to see if we can).
So great bug, thank you so much for posting.

Thanks for raising this! We were able to fix this just in time for our October release next week

Let me know if you're able to wait until next week, or if you want me to share the steps on how to fix this on your end with you.

@dtheilen This has been fixed in the latest release. Please install the latest version of the toolkit following the instructions for installing updates. Note that if you do not remove the unmanaged layers as described there you will not receive updates from us.
