[CoE Starter Kit - BUG] Changing permission to Can View in helper no longer downgrades from edit to view #6973

Does this bug already exist in our backlog?

  • I have checked and confirm this is a new bug.

Describe the issue

Use any of the methods to move from Owner to Can View
Will move to edtor not viewer

Try to move from Can Edit to Can View
Does not change

However the call succeeds. I guess its now saying, yes the user can view! as opposed to changing to view only

likely need to check and remove edit perms before adding.

@Jenefer-Monroe This has been fixed in the latest release. Please install the latest version of the toolkit following the instructions for installing updates. Note that if you do not remove the unmanaged layers as described there you will not receive updates from us.
