This sample demonstrates how to pack an XDK project for upload to Partner Center.

EraPackage

This project uses the XboxOne XDK to create an ERA (exclusive resource allocation) package that can be uploaded to Partner Center.

Setup

  • Open the DiceWebSampleApps.sln in Visual Studio
  • Configure the SystemInfo project

Building

Building the EraPackage project will use the installed XDK to pack the SystemInfo project.

Set the Platform to "Durango" before building.

Tips:

  • Always save your changes before building. The PowerShell scripts will work with the content saved to disk and not what is viewed in the IDE.
  • Use Rebuild if you have made any changes to the settings in the SystemInfo project. Visual Studio may not recognize custom setting changes as requiring a new build.

Output

Files will be created in the "out" subfolder of this project. The two files needed for uploading to Partner Center are the XVC and the EKB.

  • /XboxOne/EraPackage/out
