[Calendar Compat]: Focus border gets cut off in month selection #31550

As a follow up to #31509 there's an issue with the focus indicator getting cut off when using month or week selection:

this is a known issue from the previous design as well, but we are linking it to the PR above since it touches the focus indicator.
