All dialogs and side panels in the kit are broken (no-op) #464
Comments
Hello. I presume this is in continuation of microsoft/coe-starter-kit#8216 I dont know that there is much I can do here. This issue does not repro for me and its an out of the box control. So if its not registering your clicks that would be a product bug. (turns out this was the dialog control from creator kit, not an out of the box control) |
Perhaps try changing other browser settings like zoom, or browse in incogneto. |
Hi Jenefer, Good day! Yes this is continuation of case microsoft/coe-starter-kit#8216, tried is on other browser and even different workstations still unable to save the changes I made.. I even updated COE-Core Components to the latest version still same.. |
Solutions installedCan you please share a screenshot like this so we can see what solutions you have installed in this environment? Be sure to show all records (all rows) and expand the indicated columns so that we can see full names Environment TypeAnd also please let us know what region your envt is in as well as its type? This can be found in the product admin pages: https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/ |
I cant create a Australia Envt to test with. All it has is one app that has a button. Hit that button and it brings up the control in question. Then here hitting save should notify you "hit save" and close the dialog. |
ok thank you for confirming. This is an issue with the creator kit control then, I will ask them to transfer the issue over to their repository to investigate |
Thanks Jenefer! |
Good morning, I am facing the same issue/behaviour with the 'Save' button when trying to update the value for the Admin eMail env variable. Did this get resolved? I have installed the Creator Kit and the Core Components Solutions only. Is there a workaround available? |
No unfortunately this is not resolved. And it has now spread to all regions. |
Is there a work around in the meantime to allow me to update environment variables? Much appreciated. |
How to update env vars manualyYou can manually update environment variables by doing the following:
For these env vars in particular:Admin eMail : Power Platform Maker Group ID : Power Platform User Group ID : |
The broader team is working on an update to Creator Kit which we expect early to mid next week at which point I will use it to update the apps in the kit before we ship the June release. |
I got an early drop of the new creator kit and confirmed I am unblocked from doing all these fixes so we will be able to fix for June release |
Does this bug already exist in our backlog?
