Sign in and Cloud Save - Experiment

Description

Sign into MakeCode Arcade with your Microsoft Account to enable saving projects to the cloud where they're accessible from any device.

How to use it?

Enable the experiment

In MakeCode Arcade, enable the Cloud Save experiment by clicking the gear wheel, select About..., click Experiments, find and select the Cloud Save card, then click on the back arrow to return to the home screen.

Sign in

After the page reloads, look for a new "person" icon next to the gear wheel. Click there and sign in.

When signed in, your projects will be saved to the cloud when you edit them, and be accessible from the other devices you sign into.

Sign out

When you sign out, your cloud-saved projects will not be assessible.

Opt-out

You can get back to a signed out state and preserve your cloud-saved projects by deleting your MakeCode profile. This can be done from the My Profile screen. When you delete your profile, your cloud projects will be converted to local projects on your current device only.

Caution

This feature is in public preview status, so there may be bugs! If you're concerned about losing work, please save a local copy of your projects before signing in. You might consider trying it out in an InPrivate browser session.
