Windows Terminal version (or Windows build number)

10.0.19042.1165

Other Software

WSL 2
Ubuntu-20.04

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open WSL with Ubuntu-20.04 in Windows Terminal
  2. Rename the bashrc.txt to .bashrc and place it in ~
  3. git clone https://github.com/tmux/tmux
  4. cd tmux/tools/
  5. ./24-bit-color.sh

Expected Behavior

I would love to use 24-bit colors :)

Actual Behavior

I would expect the advertised 24-bit colors to appear, but as a matter of fact, nothing appears. When I use a neighbouring script from tmux called 256colors.pl, I can at least get an output.

I commented some parts of the prompt setup in my .bashrc and also ran infocmp as described in a similar issue, but I cannot really tell if it shows something helpful:

Ah. Looking though that script, this looks like /dup #4321

Key section is https://github.com/tmux/tmux/blob/609baea95e30201919a173ea1de1f750a15a9f8c/tools/24-bit-color.sh#L37-L42

if the separator was ;, this would work.
