Quite a few of these false positives in deserts all over... dozens of examples in White Sands New Mexico... also in UT, CA, TX... Some of the larger examples are below. (methodology to find these examples... filter on vectors with diagonal across ll-to-ur bounding box > 1.5 km... manually remove the half dozen auto plants and you're left with these false positives.) I've been processing the California data and I'm seeing a lot of large "buildings" that really aren't buildings. Many of them are in the desert, south of the Salton Sea. Example:
Others are in farm land:
(I realize that sometimes farms acreage is covered in tents, which might appear to be a building. But in this case, it's just a field.)
Of the 100 largest buildings in California, it looks like about 50 of them aren't really buildings. I can provide a list if that will help.
