Python 3.11 was released today, but I noticed it's not yet in the supported tags for the devcontainer. Is it possible to add that version? It does seem to be available here:
https://hub.docker.com/_/python/

Images are now tracked at devcontainers/images. I raised devcontainers/images#175 to track this request.
