  • VSCode Version: 1.67.2
  • Local OS Version: MacOS Monterey 12.4
  • Remote OS Version: N/A
  • Remote Extension/Connection Type: Containers/WSL
  • Logs:

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. From the Remote Development extension, select Add development container configuration files and pick for exemple Node.js
  2. There's an extra .devcontainer/base.Dockerfile created that wasn't there in previous version. It seems to be the base dockerfile used to created the base image deployed on registry.
