Macos: vscode will not create a new window in a "space" if there is not already a vscode window in that space #103356

  • VSCode Version: 1.47.2
  • OS Version: Macos 10.15.6

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. have a vscode window open in one space
  2. switch to a different space, activate vscode from the dock or cmd-tab and choose "new window" from the File menu
  3. see nothing happen at all

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes.
