VSCODE crashes for unknown reasons #157862

Reproduction steps

  1. Remote desktop the computer and open VSCODE on that machine
  2. Close the remote connection
  3. Connect to the computer remotely again
    The VSCODE screen on the remote desktop will appear to be stuck and unresponsive. It will not close.
    I'm using Win 11, I don't know how to fix it

having the same issue on macos: 13.0 Beta (22A5295i). and I'm not using remote connection.

@SuperPowerLF2 please use the Start Extension Bisect command to investigate whether the problem is being caused by one of your extensions.

@aladdin-add since you are not using Remote Desktop onto a Windows machine why do you think yours is the same problem?

it's getting unresponsive for unknown reasons. I have to force-kill it.

@SuperPowerLF2 please use the Start Extension Bisect command to investigate whether the problem is being caused by one of your extensions.

@aladdin-add since you are not using Remote Desktop onto a Windows machine why do you think yours is the same problem?

I have tried closing all the plugins, the problem still persists
