terminal split as windows

Hello, I would like to split terminal windows like it is possible to do with working files.

I would like to have the terminal in the top half. and my working files in the lower part. if I have several columns it is impossible.

If I take a file and slide it just below the tab, it offers me vertical division. but with the terminal no.

if I click on the position of the pane "at the bottom" it takes up all the space on my screen. it does not know how to stay only in the size of the column of the window. THANKS.

This seems possible if you drag the file into the lower half of the terminal. You can then further split the group occupied by the file into columns:
