Type: Bug

I went to open VS Code today, but all of the shortcuts were invalid, and attempting to run it from command line also failed. (I am running Windows 10)

When I investigated further, I found that previously, the Code.exe was located in ~/AppData/Local/Programs/Microsoft VS Code/bin/ but as of this morning, it is now located in ~/AppData/Local/Programs/Microsoft VS Code/_/.

The only thing that has changed is the update to 1.89.1. Unfortunately I have no steps to reproduce this.

VS Code version: Code 1.89.1 (dc96b83, 2024-05-07T05:13:33.891Z)
OS version: Windows_NT x64 10.0.19045

I have the similar question : My bin folder has not been changed, but the paths of some other files have changed. For example, the path of my files icudtl.dat, resources.pak and so on has changed from ~/AppData/Local/Programs/Microsoft VS Code/ to ~/AppData/Local/Programs/Microsoft VS Code/_/, which causes my VS Code fail to start. I resolved this by coping all the files located in ~/AppData/Local/Programs/Microsoft VS Code/_/ into ~/AppData/Local/Programs/Microsoft VS Code/. But I don't know if this will cause other problems and I keep the folder "_". I want to know how to deal with the folder "_".
