Type: Bug

Have tried run and debug on side of vs code and am getting this error message. Yesterday my code was working to run and debug and now it won't work. The error message I get is "couldnt find a debug adapter descriptor for debug type 'coreclr' (extension might have failed to activate)". I have tried looking on google and youtube for a solution to which nothing has worked these past 18 hours of trying to fix this. Can someone please help?
