@ShalokShalom You could try |
Still the same issue. |
@ShalokShalom is there any more information you could provide?
|
Casually installed KaOS |
Looks like an chrome/electron rendering issue to me. Do you see the same when running Chrome browser? Did you configure any font for VS Code? |
Chrome is fine. It happens with both, a custom and the default font. Since when does Electron render Chrome? So why do you remove the label? |
This is still the case for 17.1 I already tried it with a fresh config directory and by that without any extensions. |
It does not happen in the release notes page, so I guess its an Electron issue, since that one is probably not rendered with it, yeah? It happens in all the cases, which get rendered directly to the DOM. All things, like the release notes and the extension gallery, which are rendered into the webview, are fine. |
Can I do anything about it? |
@ShalokShalom if it is electron problem then the alternatives also must have the same problem. Did you try another electron app ? Perhaps atom. Checking the result might help to develop vscode |
Yeah, it also happens in Atom. |
Well, this is even merged already: atom/atom#15737 |
What can this be?
It happens in 16.1, 17.1 and 17.2 on Linux with both Intel GPU driver and KMS (generic)
