Issue Type: Bug

After installing the Windows October 2018 update, the terminal window now has a display bug. When opening a new terminal window within visual studio code text is displayed 10+ rows below the command line prompt.

Tried reinstall vscode, remove all extensions but didn't work.

Is it happened because terminal has to process ciryllic characters?

I think it's an issue which have a lot of persons ;) I am from Germany, same issue here with Windows 1809. So let us wait, the developer will fix it soon

The quick fix for now is typing any console command to bring the focus back up to the top of the terminal window prompt. I use the command "cls".
