Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Unclear -- this is an issue w/ the integrated jupyter notebooks, so I can't test with that disabled

  • VS Code Version: 1.60.2
  • OS Version: Big Sur 11.4

Steps to Reproduce:
I don't know how to reproduce this issue, but periodically (and regularly ~ 10+ times per 10 hour day) cell output from integrated jupyter notebooks stops being copy-able.

I can work around this by highlighting the text and dragging it into a text editor and copying it from there
I can (temporarily) fix this issue by reloading vscode.

@EvanSchaltonJockMkt thanks for the bug report, can you please follow below steps next time if you run into this again, with latest Insiders or the coming Stable 1.62, to help us troubleshoot?

  • Open command palette
  • Search for command "Toggle Notebook Clipboard Troubleshooting" and run
  • Reproduce the bug
  • Copy the logs recorded in the Log view/panel, and share with us
