Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Created a codespace
  2. First launch did open Getting Started, so I opened the readme
  3. Got a confusing extension recommendation prompt for .git files:

I guess this is also why I don't have a ports panel?

Verified with Codespaces 1.62.0-insider, no .git extension recommendation, and port-related commands are visible in the command palette:
