  • VSCode Version: 1.21.0 Insiders
  • OS Version: macOS

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open a Markdown file and a preview to the side
  2. Be sure the markdown.preview.markEditorSelection setting is true (default)
  3. Move the cursor in the markdown file

The gray editor selection bar in not shown on the left gutter

Found during testing #44463
