  • VSCode Version: 1.36.1
  • OS Version: Windows 10 1903 and Ubuntu 19.04

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Install a random extension
  2. See that the extension has a tooltip "Extension is enabled locally"
  3. Disable the extension
  4. Enable the extension for that workspace
  5. See that the extension has a tooltip "Extension is enabled locally"

I would expect that in step 2 the tooltip would say something like "Extension is enabled globally".

Additional:

And could you please update the wording for the tooltip? The text is now confusing and not in line with the label of the menu item to enable or disable the extension. "Extension is enabled for this workspace" makes much more sense.
