the topmost three events are in the future, but they're all shown as "now"

admittedly lunar calendar is a bit of a silly example, but I think its reasonable for people to try to use this to show, for instance, "code freeze in 7 days", "sprint ends in 3 days", "endgame week starts in 2 weeks", etc.
