This is easy to reproduce in Sample/WMCConsole_winrtcpp but actually applies to any kernel streaming frameserver client.
Is there a way to turn of make internal debug messages from frameserver?

Hi, you are debugging the frameserver process I assume to debug a DMFT or a virtual camera, in this case yes you would see debug messages that can be somewhat verbose in cases of error encountered tied to the frameserver process. I am not sure about what you are asking but maybe this helps;

  • if you want to exclude certain types of messages in the output window when debugging in VS, you can right click in the output window and deselect certain types of output.
  • You can also go to the top menu bar -> Debug -> Options.. and then under Debugging -> Symbols -> Specify excluded modules you can add frameserver.dll to the exclusion list.
