This topic applies to features in the Inventory management module. It does not apply to features in the Warehouse management module.
Use the Transfer orders form to update shipments and received items. For more information, see About shipments.

Click Inventory management > Periodic > Transfer orders.

Press CTRL+N to create the transfer order and select the Reserve items automatically check box on the Setup tab. You will be asked to complete the From warehouse and To warehouse tabs if necessary.

Press CTRL+N to create a new line on the Lines tab and select the item.

Click Inventory > Output orders, enter a quantity, and then click OK.

Activate the shipment.

Start and complete a picking route or a pallet transport.

Complete and post the shipment in the Transfer orders form.

Click Inventory management > Journals > Item arrival > Item arrival.

In the Location journal form, press CTRL+N to create an arrival journal.

Click the Default values tab, select Transfer order receive in the Reference field. Select a journal number in the Number field.

Click Functions and select Create lines to retrieve the transfer order.

Select the Initialize quantity check box, and click OK.

Click Post to post the journal line.

Start and complete the pallet transport.
