Where does the function authenticate come from? do I really need to look through all the files to find it ? why asterisk imports? Links to auth_helper and customermanagement_example_helper would be helpful

@stefanm8 thanks for the feedback! The intention has been to keep the samples in sync with GitHub, e.g., you can find 'authenticate' in auth_helper.py. There is a brief note at the top of each Docs sample that mentions where to find supporting files, and yet there is opportunity to provide more details and clear guidance. We will revisit this approach and then provide an update here.
