How do you even do that on windows? As far as I know it is not allowed in most file system.

You know what, you are actually right. I wonder how FMD managed to create a folder name with double quotations as per the manga title it pulled from..

I got too many manga to manually rename all of them.. Using the old manga reader application "Minimal CS Manga Reader x64" to read those for now but I can't track progression with it

  • Here is what I use to rename files / folders on windows - FileRenamer
  • It's a portable app and the size is about 2mb.
  • Check - Include Folders.
  • Check - Search and Replace.
  • In search - Type element you want to remove.
  • In Replace - Leave it empty if you want to replace the search element with nothing.
  • Click Apply Changes.
  • Now they will all be replaced / deleted in a second.

It would probably run fine if it's just in folder name, but I can't do anything with the archives, because it relies on system to extract them.

It helps for my existing manga folders but not for my favorite settings in FMD tho..

For my case it's just the manga folder name. The archives are name Chapter 001, Chapter 002 and so on
