Describe your suggested feature

Generally I don't want entries to be scanned for updates if there are unread chapters which is why I use the 'Skip entries with "Completed" status' option in the settings, but there's a case which I do want it and that is a category that was created specifically for entries that needs to have chapters piled up first before I read them, which is why I want to add an option to "overwrite" that skip setting I mentioned earlier specifically for that category.

Isn't this the default behavior?

Or maybe manually refresh the manga before starting to read. There’s no reason to place such a load on sources.

If you only read the title I understand why you might think that because it's a bit misleading(I didn't want to make it too long)

I am talking about an option to make all entries not update if there are unread chapters except in the case that they are in a category that is specifically flagged to do update even if there are unread chapters

Ohh, I see. Yeah that'll certainly be helpful. For now you can just go to whatever category you want to update and then swipe down, it'll only update that category if I'm correct (just that category, not global update) but again for that to work, you'll need to disable the "Has unread chapters" filter

Or maybe manually refresh the manga before starting to read. There’s no reason to place such a load on sources.

In the first place I won't start reading it unless there are enough chapters, so that would mean that I would have to refresh each and every manga in the category I mentioned every once in while which is obviously tedious and unwanted especially if there are a lot of mangas in that category.

How about doing this
First move all of the said entries into a new different category and then from the library settings, uncheck (cross) the said category and then once in a while swipe down after hovering to that category.

Just realized I just said the same thing as I said earlier 😑

Do you plan to read many manga from that category simultaneously? Pick the one you want to read the most, manually refresh it, see if it has enough chapters, and then either start reading it or check again at another time.
