I'm trying to use yq in a python script but am unsure how to proceed.
I noticed that there are some methods:
If I use
yq.cli()
it does pretty much what it would if ran in the shell, but also exits the python session.I'm trying to avoid using cli calls, especially since it seems all the libraries exist in python.
Now I didn't find anything regarding using yq directly in python, and looking at the code base it seems its written in go which I'm not too familiar with.
If anyone is aware of how I would be able to use it directly in python without sending a command to the shell, and provide a few examples it would be appreciated.
