Currently, this image is using a non-standard (for Talos) partition layout that works with the vendor U-Boot.

No EFI/BIOS partitions
ext4 boot partition (normally xfs)
DTB in boot partition (normally in EFI partition)

There's been some progress with EDK2, but as of the end of 2022, it appears to lack functional HDMI output and USB support.

Upstream U-Boot now has good RK3588 support with functional EFI.

Note that the BSP/vendor kernel does NOT like to be booted via EFI, so this is still only useful for mainline kernels.
