Thanks for this suggestion! Unfortunately, there aren't plans to support databases other than PostgreSQL for now.

Adding additional databases creates significant complexity in testing new releases, and hampers our ability to quickly iterate on new features; the last thing I want is a release that works for some databases to entirely break on others!

For now, I'll have to mark this as closed.
