Unfortunately true. There was some forks, but the most active fork was active 3 years ago.

This project is not dead, fortunately. This isn't the real repository and it's just a wrapper of serveo in a CLI form. The real serveo project is hosted by a guy named Trevor and the project isn't on GitHub.

There is a Google Groups forum for Serveo here:
https://groups.google.com/g/serveo

And Trevor still updates serveo sometimes. When serveo goes down, he brings the server back up when possible. So yes, this project is still maintained surprisingly.

I've come here today to report though, that serveo has been down for 3+ days. Not sure what's going on but I hope it comes back soon.
