The model doesn't converge

Hello I am trying out your Binary addition example and the model does not converge. I have made the change to using "list" before map needed for python3. It still does not converge. Do you know what could be the issue?
Here is the entire code, it has no errors, just doesn't converge, the errror is around 0.25 for all the epochs.
