MONODEVELOP

Install

  • Preference > TextEditor > Behavior > Use Vi Modes
  • Preference > Source Code > Code Formatting > Text file > Convert tabs to spaces
  • Install Nuget: Add-in Manager > Gallery > Repository > Manage Repositories > Add http://mrward.github.com/monodevelop-nuget-addin-repository/4.0/main.mrep
  • Install Paket: monodevelop-paket-addin
  • Edit shortcuts: Preference > Key Bindings
    • Change Go to Matching Brace to ^B

Shortcuts

Custom mapping

To create custom key mapping go to Preference > Environment > Key Bindings

  • Solution - Map to C 1
  • Outline - Map to C 2

Editing

    C R - Rename variable
    C / - Toggle comment line
    C I - Format code
    C K - Delete to end of line

Search and replace

    C D   - Go to declaration
    Shift C R - Find references
    Shift C F - Find in files
    Shift C T - Go to type
    Shift C D - Go to file
    C . - Navigate to

Compile and Run

    C B - Build all
    C Alt Enter - Run
    C Enter - Debug
