User Story

As a Bedrock user
I want to be able to understand the cost of my queries to the Bedrock service
So that I can make sure my service is sustainable and there are no unexpected charges

Value / Purpose

Provide users of the Bedrock service cost and usage metrics

Useful Contacts

RichB Juia

User Types

No response

Hypothesis

If we provide costing information
Then people are aware and can act accordingly e.g. is my service valuable for x amount of $$

Proposal

Capture usage CloudTrail / CloudWatch

Additional Information

Build an internal SaaS service with cost and usage tracking for foundation models on Amazon Bedrock

Definition of Done

  • Explorer where were can get usage
  • Raise issues to put that usage into e.g. ObsPlat, CloudWatch, QS, Slack etc
