code-oss not a valid url for some arch linux distro #109

Error message: "code-oss" is not a valid callback URL.
code-oss is the default VS-Code for Manjaro Arch

OS: Linux x64 6.1.21-1-MANJARO

  • Vscode is a valid callback url
  • code is not a valid callback url
  • code-oss is not a valid callback URL

I came across with the same issue.

The solution was to install Visual Code from another source.

If you use yay:
yay -S visual-studio-code-bin
